    K L University is a pioneer in engineering education and research in the private sector. It was established as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in 1980 and is situated on a spacious 60-acre campus on the banks of Buckingham Canal of river Krishna, 8 Km away from Vijayawada. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of UGC with an ‘A++’ grade. KL University has a knowledge base that stems from outstanding and highly qualified academic staff, numbering 600+ faculty members out of which 155+ are doctorates, and 300+ are pursuing Ph.D., which is best for an engineering institute. KLU offers 10 UG programs, 14 PG programs, 28 Integrated Degree programs, and Dual Degree programs, and in addition, research programs are offered in 14 different disciplines.
    KL Hyderabad, the off-campus endeavor of KL legacy, has been around the Pearl & Hi-tech city, Hyderabad since 2018. with an intake of 660 students with ECE, CSE, and AI&DS branches. The institute has been accorded with several funded projects from DST, ICCSR, and other funding agencies. More than 100 doctoral faculty members work for a healthy academic and research ambiance for students to explore project-based learning experiences in a well-defined global curriculum.

    About the department of H&S
    The Department of Humanities and Sciences is one of the indispensable and multidisciplinary departments of the University, with a conglomeration of departments like English & Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Fine arts. The department of the University caters to the educational opportunities for the intellectual, social, and professional development of a diverse student populace. The department is an integral and essential part of the University that focuses on promoting the discovery & application of scientific knowledge that prepares the students to contribute effectively, intellectually, and ethically as citizens of a dynamic scientific community.
    A broad-based core curriculum is offered, promoting critical thinking, effective verbal and written communication, and skills for life-long learning. The students are nurtured with Social and Life Skills, Problem-solving Abilities, and Critical Thinking Skills for their holistic development to be Society-ready and future-ready citizens. Most of the faculty members are drawn from premier institutes like IITs, NITs, Central Universities and Foreign Universities with proven teaching and research capabilities that are accessible in the department. The department has more than 35 Ph.D. scholars working in various research areas. Three DST projects worth rupees 116 Lakhs are in progression. The department has conducted 24 National and International Webinars, Workshops, and FDPs.
    About the Conference
    In the last three decades, a Common Ground has been paved in developing technologies that seek to remove the barriers to scholarly communication. In each phase, we had built media platforms to support spaces for multidisciplinary dialogue before such approaches were in vogue. These approaches connected international voices when disciplines were too often isolated in national silos and supported an agenda of access and equality by offering pathways and opportunities for diverse voices in Humanities and Sciences.

    We now propose another kind of intervention to build a scholarly communication infrastructure for a blended future of knowledge production and learning.

    Our blended model seeks to transcend physical boundaries by offering a platform to extend in-person conference content online while ensuring that the online-only delegates are offered equal participatory and experiential spaces within the platform. At the same time, the model offers participants a legacy resource to which they can return in the Event application, with access to a social space in our community application where fellow participants can keep connected long after the conference ends.
